DINA PICCIONI

I always knew I had a passion for supporting women with birth and babies, and when I watched my daughter in law and son go through their pregnancy acting a doula, I knew what I wanted to do. I have raised my own 3 children and been a daycare provider for 19 years. I raised many babies in my daycare so it was a natural transition for me after taking my doula training. I myself could have benefited from a doula with my own pregnancies. I enjoy being there for families for comfort measures, physical and emotional support and advocacy. Trying to make each family have the birth they want is most important for me as well as preparing them for changes that can happen during labor. Being a doula for families is very fulfilling for me.
