Looking for something festive to celebrate the season in your neighborhood? Here are some unique Baltimore sights and sounds of the season to delight the youngest and oldest family members alike! Baltimore Christmas Market Modeled after the infamous Weihnactsmarkts in Germany, the collection of shops and biergarten tent allow you to feast on traditional German fare like Bratwurst and Schnitzel, crepes and Gluhwine. See Santa and pick up some beautifully crafted ornaments, village houses and more, between the inner harbor visitors center and Maryland Science Center. Ice Skating at Pandora Rink Inner Harbor McKeldin Plaza is happy to host a wonderfully festive ice rink right next to the inner harbor. The rink is a great opportunity to get out on the ice, and skate rentals cover sizes for toddlers through adults. Grab the camera and your balance and make some holiday memories through January 19th. Holiday Festival of Trains - B&O Raroad, Ellicott City Bring the kiddos to ogle over the mini train displays and then watch the real cars go by! Explore the history of the original depot center as well as the train cabooses on display. Grab a snack in historic Elicott City afterwards, decorated beautifully for the holiday. Miracle on 34th Street A yearly tradition, the homes along the 34th street block of Hampden go all out with the lights and Christmas cheer, Clark Griswold style. Bring some cocoa or drive by in your car to take in the sights. 12 Days of Science - Maryland Science Center Free with membership or paid admission, from the 20th through the 31st, demonstrations and special exhibits revolve around the magic and weather related events of the season. Enjoy the Christmas Bulb drop, toy making workshops and more! The Maryland Science Center is at 601 Light Street.
