Last Minute Bump Costumes for Halloween

need a costume idea for your bump this Halloween? Here are a few ideas

Maybe you didn’t anticipate still being pregnant on Halloween, or maybe you just didn’t know what to dress up as with a burgeoning bump! Here are a few cute and sensible costume ideas if you’re dragging your tired preggo self to a party in the coming week!

1. Elliott and E.T.

Embrace your inner Elliott and dress in comfy clothes - think red hoodie and jeans or comfy pants - and have your bump steal the show as the bicycle and E.T.!

2. Gumball Machine

Using pom-poms, outline the machine in permanent marker and fill it in with multicolored balls using a glue gun. A little time consuming, but super fun!

3. BB-8

For the Star Wars fanatic! Create the base of BB8 using felt and/or markers on your bump, then attach a smaller ball with an antenna using safety pins for the head of the robot.

4. The Kool-Aid Man

“Oh yeahhh!”. If you’re crafty, make the bump into the Kool-Aid Man on a comfortable shirt. Attach two rectangles of cardboard via velcro and cut the edges around your bump to make it look like the Kool-Aid Man is busting out of the wall!

5. Jar of Prego

Red shirt, felt mushrooms, onions and peppers and black lettering and you’re a great pun on words!

6. Mummy Tummy

Make your little one peek out of your belly with bandage wrapping over a white T-shirt. Include some felt eyes and a hand separating the bandages on your tummy and you’re all set!

7. Wrecking Ball

Remember the Miley Cyrus days of just a few years past? Think of this: tummy is the wrecking ball, chain necklace attached to a scantily clad Barbie doll riding on top! You’ll definitely have lots of photo ops with this one!
