The 5 Best Strollers - And Which to Get

If you’ve ventured into a baby gear store lately - or Amazon for that matter - I’m sure you’ve noticed how overwhelming the selection of strollers is! So many styles and designs, but which are the best for you and your family? We tested a TON - and came up with the best ones for your perusing.

Not only is the design sleek and smart and fully customizable, the included bassinet also allows for a configuration of the travel system to accommodate up to three kiddos (with attachable seats and ride on boards. The system can also work with your travel car seat from an alternative manufacturer with attachments, stands smartly in your trunk or small space when folded flat, and has comparable all-wheel suspension to some of the jogger strollers on the market. The basket storage underneath can hold up to 30 lbs (we’ve tried it with a toddler sitting in it!) and at 26 lbs is one of the lighter strollers with as many features on the market. We also love the size of the canopy. While it’s at the higher end of the price margin, you can’t go wrong with a stroller for many ages and stages!

Even if you’re not planning on going long distance running with baby in tow, you can’t beat some of the features on the BOB. It’s the cream of the work out crop; and if you even think you’ll be off roading with your stroller, or going to do any sort of exercise class with baby, we can’t think of a better choice. The swiveling and locking front wheel allows for a great amount of travel, while an adjustable padded handlebar fits your height. An easy fold system, supension for impact and ability to adapt a car seat make this a great contender! BOB strollers also hold their value impeccably, so when it’s time to upgrade to a double, you’ll be able to pass it on easily!

Over the years, the Baby Jogger City Select has dominated the market in popularity for both its price point, ability to withhold rough wear and tear, the lightweight swiveling wheels, and easye of folding and transport. Customizable with an infant car seat, it also boasts adjustable handles, a spacious lower basket for storage, customizable seats for additional children, and a variety of accessories that make it a family favorite.

Travel Systems are popular registry items, but often families have to compromise the convenience of getting everyone they want for the weight, bulk, and less amount of features that come with their system. The Bravo Trio has solved this problem; the farm works alone with the car seat instead of a set stroller that the seat sits inside of, and then adapts to a toddler stroller up to 50 lbs after the car seat days are over! For the price, you also gain the base and car seat, a great lightweight stroller and spacious lower basket.

The highest price point on our list, the Bugaboo is the Cadillac of strollers, and truly is an investment piece in your family’s travel. With faux leather handles, quilted lining in the canopy and bassinet, a spacious and full coverage sun canopy, and over 20 configurations for side baskets, additional seats, and more, you’re truly getting a wonderful, long life out of a stroller. One of the lightest at 21 pounds, the customer service of Bugaboo also can’t be matched; when items wear and tear, you can have them replaced under the warranty. The wheels, while not as all terrain as a jogger, are contestable on the market.

No matter what works best for your family, we can’t recommend these top 5 enough! Which stroller did you get for your kiddo? We’d love to know!
